Leeds LGBT+ Volunteers networking event

As volunteers we work throughout the year for the benefit of others within the community. Focusing on our individual groups & causes without taking time to reflect on our successes and the benefits we bring to others.

Due to this focus we also have little opportunity to socialise with volunteers within other organisations than our own. This can be especially difficult to do around Pride season as we don't take time out for ourselves, but rather we channel our energies into our plans for the groups.

This event has been planned to bring together those who work in a voluntary capacity running/supporting Leeds LGBT+ Community groups, to take some time out for yourself to focus on self-care. It also provides an opportunity to network with other groups to start building cross group engagement for future events and peer support.

Refreshments and a light buffet will be provided on the evening, and please feel free to bring your own alcohol.

Location: Priestley Hall, Mill Hill Chapel, City Square.
