    The first year of our existence has certainly been a busy one, and we're very much looking forward to our continued growth and increased positive impact of working within the Leeds LGBT+ communities.     Each year West Yorkshire Police host a recognition event for their officers, staff and volunteers to acknowledge the challenges & in many cases the sheer bravery of actions in protecting the community they serve.     Our volunteers were delighted to be shortlisted in two categories for the BACIL (Businesses Against Crime In Leeds) Awards 2018, with nominations coming from the organisations in the partnership and community members to recognise our work within the Leeds LGBT+ communities.
